Scott Hamilton Trio

“Scott Hamilton is the premier ‘mainstream’ saxophonist of today.” – AllAboutJazz

Scott Hamilton has long been known as keeper of the flame for swinging tenor saxophone in the tradition of such icons as Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Gene Ammons, Illinois Jacquet, and Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis. He made his self-titled first album for Concord in 1977, and more than 40 records later, he is still recording for the label, with his latest being Across The Tracks. He makes his long-awaited Victoria debut at TD JazzFest with acclaimed pianist Rossano Sportiello and JJ Shakur bass.
