Now living in Victoria, Chilean/Canadian guitarist and composer David Santana has an exciting and modern sound, blending jazz with world music, among other styles. His music is rooted in the tradition of Wes Montgomery and Charlie Parker, with more contemporary harmonic language in the spirit of Kurt Rosenwinkel. With every performance, he aims to bridge the gaps between jazz styles to create a collective experience and unique sound.
