Rowan Farintosh is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and award-winning performer based on Vancouver Island. Farintosh is primarily a jazz musician, but also takes inspiration from contemporary genres like hip-hop, funk, R&B, ambient, and progressive rock. 

Through this diverse set of musical interests, Farintosh composes music based in jazz improvisation that is accessible to people with a wide variety of musical taste. He performs regularly with his own quintet as well as with other bands around Victoria.
