TD Bank has ended its title sponsorship of JazzFest International Victoria. Without a replacement at this time, we can’t guarantee that JazzFest International Victoria or our year-round concerts will continue. This one-time $250,000 campaign will give the Victoria Jazz Society a runway to secure new sponsorship.

For more than 40 years, the Victoria Jazz Society has been bringing incredible music to Victoria; from hundreds of world famous artists at the Royal Theatre to unforgettable nights at JazzFest. The VJS has presented thousands of international artists, Canadian artists, and especially local musicians on stage, outdoor free-to-attend performances, emerging musicians, free-to-attend educational workshops, and many concerts throughout the year. You bought the tickets, filled the seats, danced in the park, and discovered artists you didn’t know. You helped make it possible for the VJS to continue bringing great music to Victoria. THANK YOU! The Victoria Jazz Society will collect pledges up until end-of-day Friday, October 30. If enough pledges are made by this date, the Victoria Jazz Society will contact you to finalize your gift. If the Victoria Jazz Society does not meet its fundraising goal, it will have to consider alternative options, such as closing its doors and discontinuing operations.

A: Finalized (paid) pledges of $10 and up are eligible for a tax receipt issued by the Victoria Jazz Society.

A: Your donation will help provide the financial stability the Victoria Jazz Society needs to continue presenting live music in Victoria. Funds raised through this campaign will support the Society’s ongoing operations and programming, and will create a sustainable future for the Victoria Jazz Society moving forward.

A: If the campaign exceeds $250K, that would be excellent! $250,000 is our initial fundraising goal, not a ceiling. Additional funds will help ensure greater stability for the Victoria Jazz Society and support our ability to continue presenting live music, concerts, festivals, and community programming in the years ahead. The more support we receive, the more confidently we can plan for the future of live music in Victoria.
