Trumpet virtuoso and 2019 winner of the Victoria Jazz Society’s Lou Williamson Scholarship Award, Owen Chow leads a polished, vigorous, and highly mesmerizing jazz quintet featuring local rising musicians.

Chow is a multi-award winning trumpet player who grew up playing music in Victoria, before moving to Montreal to complete a degree in Jazz Performance at the prestigious McGill University. After graduating in the spring of 2023, Chow has been performing at the many different jazz clubs in Montreal as a freelance trumpet player. During his time in Montreal, he has played alongside Louis Hayes, Charles McPherson, and Melissa Aldana, amongst others.
